Have there been any new advances for treatment and/or removal of rectal hemorrhoids?

With all the new techniques and technology I am thinking that a method using a laser, or such, has been developed and in use. Know of such new procedures? my name is matty and im a 17 year ancient boy when i pass stool my **** becomes puffy well the rim of my **** does so i geuss i have hemorrhoids and as you cam imagine i dont whant this problem at my age. so i was wonderin if you have had hemorrhoid what treatment did you do or recieve did it work well did it completly clear up the hemorrhoid completely i will be seeing my doc soon hopefully but i am scerrrrd he will say surgerey and i will have to tell my folks wich is embarising so plz tell me all you know about this issue
