How to pass stools with hemorrhoids?

I recently found out that I have an internal hemorrhoid and now I am consipated without having a bowel movement for 4 days due to the pain associated with passing them. I was wondering if stool softeners help soften the stool that is, well, first in line to pass. If not what are some ways to alleviate the pain associated with passing stool? I am already on hydrocortizone suppositories and stool softeners.

when i went to the bathroom i had blood on the toilet paper and in the toilet bowl after the bowel movement. this happened friday night after a night of drinking (beer only). and it happen today again but not as terrible as friday night. i havent done nything to treat this other than drinking more water and trying to get more fiber in…
tonight i stuck my finger in a small bit (my butt) and i felt something. i dont now how to clarify it but i guess it felt a bulge. and there was blood on my finger. could this be a bulge vein or fisure? i do a lot of sitting during the day and i heard thats not excellent for this. i also intake caffeine during the day and sometimes a lot. and a few beers during the week….
what should i do to treat this? i know goin to a doctor is the simple answer but i want to try to treat this b4 going. i had this happen earlier in the year and it cleared up iin a week…. i believe this to be internal hemroids. are there any oinments to buy at the drug store

ok I don’t want to sound too nasty but I have an internal hemorrhoid that only comes out when i go number two. It doesn’t cause me any pain at all. so should i worry? is this normal? or should i go to the doctor? or is there a way to get rid of it at home? thanks

questions about internal hemorrhoids and colon cancer?

i had rectal bleeding for a couple of years but was to worried/embarrassed to say anything about it. then after having my 1st baby i told myself you need to tell the doctor. so i did and they told me to get a colonascopy (sorry dont know how to spell it)to be on the safe side.
i found out i had internal hemorrhoids. that was in Jan 07 i was 23yrs ancient. now i have been having bleeding again blood on the paper in the toilet water (nearly like a period but not as heavy) (bright red blood) no blood in the stool. so the doc wants to send for another colonascopy.
the first test 2.5years ago showed only internal hemorrhoids and nothing else.
so my questions are…
can internal hemorrhoids cause bleeding like that?
since i had one 2.5 years ago i should be ok? right or how long does it take colon cancer to appear?
i had another baby in feb 2009 but this one was a c-section could that be causing any of my problems?
im just really scarred and i need to hear what you guys reckon and or have gone through!!!
