How to treat external hemorrhoids?

A couple of weeks ago I was really constipated and had a monster poop, I know I should eat fiber, drink a lot of water, etc. but there was nothing I could do at the time except get it out. So I got an external hemorrhoid and treated it with the witch hazel wipes and thought it went away but now I’m pretty sure it’s back. I haven’t checked yet but my butt’s itchy, same symptoms.
