It’s going to help all the people who voted for it, for sure.
But the rest of us, it’s going to hurt us A LOT. How to tell? Just watch the reaction of the stock market.
We had a friend over for dinner this past Monday, who commented that American politics are starting to look like Mexican politics – where whoever gets into office, ***** the country and makes out financially much, much better than they should. It’s very corrupt.
The days of “Joe Average” going to congress to REALLY represent the people, are gone. It’s REALLY an oligarchy.
Time will tell, supposedly, but there’s no way to know what the path not traveled would have been like.
~~They used scare tactics to overwhelm us into believing this was a by the second catastrophe waiting without the bail-out plan. Then the whole thing turned into a two week fiasco. We ended up with pork belly inserts that were ridiculous, and the cost to us isn’t even being understood by experts. I don’t know when I have ever been so scared of our government, even researching past history I can’t find anytime time that compares to coming near this mess. Now, listening to the financial “experts” they are already saying this isn’t going to change much, and they expect the economy to start going downhill very rapidly. So what was the point. We are in for some sad and scary times. I am like you, I feel like you do; as if I have been surgically violated!~~
