Anony asked:

I think I have hemorrhoids. I don’t eat veggies much, so I’m used to constipation (it sounds gross, I know). There is a really small bump that doesnt look noticeable, but I can feel it. When I poop, it hurts a lot. Otherwise it doesn’t really bother me too much.
I was wondering if it ever really goes away. People are saying it NEVER goes away? Then how do I live with it?! Also, it is really minor but its been a few days so I was wondering if I should see a doctor anytime soon… Basically, will it ever heal by itself and disappear? Help please!

some hemorrhoids will heal themselves, depending on your age if you’re younger then they usually go away on their own. If not and it’s causing you too much pain then see your doctor, there are many treatments available

hemmorhoids once they form do not go away, they have to be surgically removed. You can treat them with things like preparation H or Annusol suppositories, but you would be far and away better off if you would simply drink more water to avoid the constipation that irritates the hemmorhoid and makes it swell in the first place. the body needs a minimum of two quarts of water daily. Of course if you ignore what your body is telling you, eventually the hemmorhoid will grow to enormous proportions and then it will have to be surgically removed… not a lot of fun.

There are numerous hemorrhoid creams which can be purchased over the counter. They’re all good and work well. Just place some on the affected area and soon enough, no more hemorrhoid. If you do nothing, there’s a chance that it will disappear. But there’s more of a chance that it will get worse and possible get infected. Buy the cream, use it. doesn’t hurt. Can only help.
ps. if you tell your doctor that you are constantly constipated, he might prescribe a mild stool softener. they’re cheap enough and work well. that will also prevent the re-appearance of hemorrhoids. Good Luck.

Some hemorrhoids can go away on their own. It depends on the type and location. But, please remember, that hemorrhoids can also cover up other more serious issues. It is best to checked out by a doctor. Also, depending on the type of hemorrhoid, there are some treatments out there that really are not all that bad. Medicine has made some major improvements.
As far as your lack of veggies..there are other ways to get soluble fiber in your diet – Metamucil, Citracel, Fibesure etc. Quaker Oats has a new HIGH FIBER oatmeal with 8mg of soluble fiber per serving. The key is soluble fiber. I have oatmeal for breakfast every day. You also want to increase your water intake. 6-8 glasses of water a day.
Seriously, you might want to get it checked out to make sure that you really know what is going on.

Yes it sounds like that. Constipation refers to the condition of your bowel when you are passing ***** more

    slowly than you usually would.

Constipation can manifest itself with some or all of the following symptoms: -

    * Passing your stool is difficult; you need to strain or it is painful to do so
    * If you feel generally bloated and sluggish
    * Your stool is hard and pebbly

So if you’re constipated, and spending a lot of extra time on the toilet straining to move your bowels,

you’re putting extra strain on these cushions full of veins. And that’s one of the causes of hemorrhoids.

So what to do to treat your Constipation is:

    * Get plenty of regular exercise, at least twenty-thirty minutes. Have a quick walk about once an hour.
    * Make sure you are drinking at least 1.5 liters every day.
    * make sure there’s enough fiber in your diet.
