I’ve had a hemorrhoid on the outside of my rectum for about 2 years now. I never did anything out of embarrassment. I just started using preparation H but I believe it’s only for temporary relief. How can I cure this condition using the easiest and most effective methods? Thank you

Often times, treatment options are as simple as making a dietary change. A stool softener may also be implemented to help pass stool more effectively and more comfortably. Individuals can do this naturally by making sure they’re eating a diet high in healthy fiber. Exercising regularly and drinking six to eight glasses of water a day will also be beneficial. Hemorrhoid pain can sometimes be helped when the individual sits in a tub of warm water for 10 to 15 minutes up to four times a day. Also, a cool compress or an ice pack can help to reduce inflammation.

    Hey,

Have you seen a doctor about the condition? If not you might want to consider that. Otherwise your only real option for permanent treatment is to look at natural cures. These will usually involve making slight changes to your diet (including more fiber, drinking more water etc).

I’ve included a link below that talks about thrombosed hemorrhoids – this will give you more info and solutions.

    Hope this helps,
