The best way is to go to the doctor and get a prescription for anusol suppositories and external cream. It has a steroid in it that shrinks the hemorrhoid and it has a pain reliever in it for comfort. It cost bucks though. I paid $200 for the two a few months ago.
You may not believe this, but this is what they do. You go to a proctologist. If the ‘roids are big enough, they put a tiny rubber band on them, (like the ones people use to tighten eyeglasses) and it acts like a tourniquet… cutting off the circulation and making the ‘roid die. Some time later, it falls off. All you have left is a tiny little scar where it used to be sticking out, and that goes away quick.

The first treatment of hemorrhoids is often with a high-fiber diet and lots of fluids to promote soft regular bowel movements. Take a sitz bath by soaking in warm water several times a day, especially after having a bowel movement, to keep the area clean. If you cannot take sitz baths then gently clean yourself with a wet tissue or baby wipe. Spend less time sitting on the toilet to reduce pressure in the veins around the ****. Avoid reading on the toilet, which increases sitting time.
