Garlic clove for hemorrhoids?

I read somewhere that using a garlic clove as a suppository will really help with getting rid of hemorrhoids. Is there any truth to that? Has anyone tried it?

Try a dab of toothpaste… it works for my mum when she runs out of cream/suppositories.

you need products that are astringent in nature, try herbs (liquids) mixed into a cream , such as witchhazel or horsechestnut
i have to say it definitely works!literally overnight as well.i´m not in a serious stage,so i suppose it depends on each case,but for me it definitely worked.try,there is no harm in it,and if it works-all the better,no?
